Customer Spotlight: Jay’s Famous Roast Pork & Beef

You might not think a gourmet meal would be found adjacent to a gas station, but that’s just the case with Jay’s Famous Roast Pork & Beef, located in the Pen Mart on the Dallas Highway.

Executive Chef Jake Hizny, CEC has developed a simple and tasty menu consisting of only a handful of items that each have been meticulously crafted. The daily menu at Jay’s Famous consists of top-quality pork, beef, and turkey that has been slow roasted in house with Jay’s secret blends of spices and seasonings. Each slow roasted meat is dressed in its own special blended Au Jus, served on either a crusty hoagie roll or artisan baguette, and offered with a variety of specially chosen sandwich accompaniments. Chef Jake is also serving up his famous side salads as well as batch made kettle cook’d chips. In addition to the sandwiches and sides, Chef Jake has new homemade soup specials every week. Customers wait patiently to see what new recipe he’s dreamed up; from steak ale & cheese, to Brazilian shrimp, to creamy tomato bisque with bleu cheese, Chef Jake has something fun and tasty to serve up each week.
