For fifty years, the Kornfeld family has been working to achieve their vision of creating one of the most memorable landmarks in Northeast Pennsylvania. Mark and Gary Kornfeld were the founders of the then Treadway Inn in the late 1960’s. As their family grew, the tradition of excellence and attention to detail remained. In the early 1970’s, the Treadway morphed into what we know as the Woodlands Inn & Resort.
