Employee Spotlight: April Vince

Congratulations to April Vince, Customer Service Representative, celebrating 10 years with SFS!

What’s a typical workday like for you?

I start my day by separating paperwork from the days’ deliveries and filling in several reports using data from some of that paperwork. I answer phones and text messages from customers and sales reps to take orders, answer questions, and write credit slips up. Then I research all credit slips that came back from drivers to issue the appropriate customer credits. In between, I file invoices from previous days and help wherever is needed.

 

What do you most enjoy about working at SFS?

I enjoy the responsibilities that my job contains and its routine. Plus, the people I work with are great and I enjoy working here.

 

What is your favorite hobby, activity, or creative outlet?

I have many hobbies that I share with my husband. I love reading, watching movies/TV shows, building LEGO, and collecting trading cards, autographs, and other collectibles as well as vacationing together which we do frequently.

 

You’re on a deserted island: what three things (not people) do you bring to entertain yourself?

If we aren’t counting pets as people, then I’d take my 3 cats with me first, but then I’d grab some books to read as well as LEGO sets to build to keep me entertained.

 

What’s your favorite thing to eat in the summer?

I eat chicken all the time, not just in summer, but I especially like marinated grilled chicken. I also eat more ice cream in summer than the rest of the year.
