Kennebunkport Scallops

Looking to switch up your Lent specials? Try this satisfying scallop dish.

Kennebunkport Scallops in a Sweet Basil sauce over Pasta
1 portion Sea Scallops (about 4)
4 Ts Butter
1 T dried Basil
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 cup Marinara Sauce
Cooked Pasta for 1 serving

Begin to melt butter in a sauce pan. Gently rub basil and sugar onto scallops, then add to pan of melted butter. Just before the Scallops are cooked, add the Marinara sauce just to heat. Serve over your favorite pasta! Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
