Schiff’s Food Service, Inc. Continues Expansion into Lehigh Valley

Taylor, PA — Schiff’s Food Service, Inc. purchased the real estate, business, and all associated branding of R&R Provision Co.

 

SFS, an independent, family-owned foodservice distributor, has purchased R&R Provision, also a family-owned distributor located in Easton, Pennsylvania. Both businesses are home to their own on-site, USDA meat rooms and are members of Uni-Pro Foodservice, America’s largest foodservice cooperative. With this purchase, SFS also adds to their current business the R&R retail and online stores. The official announcement was made on Monday, June 30, 2025.

 

“R&R Provision has been a fixture in the Lehigh Valley for over 90 years,” said Mike Yeager, CEO of SFS. “We are honored to continue the legacy as a family-owned distributor and to continue building on their solid foundation.” 

 

R&R Provision Co. chairman, Scott Fainor, and president, Harry Ludwick added, “We are proud to join the Schiff’s Food Service family and excited the R&R brands and Easton facilities will be part of their high performing and growing company.”

 

SFS is retaining the R&R staff, including key leadership, as well as hiring additional employees in the future.

 

Through this purchase, SFS plans to streamline its operations in the Lehigh Valley. In February of 2021, SFS acquired the distribution division of K. Heeps in Allentown, Pennsylvania. In August of 2022, SFS acquired Korte & Co., Inc.’s facility and business in Easton before acquiring the foodservice and distribution business from Tommy Burke Provisions of Catasauqua in 2024.

SFS is an independently owned foodservice distributor. In addition to its newly added Easton location, its headquarters are in Taylor, Pennsylvania with a service area covering a 100-mile radius, including Northern New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and the Southern tier of New York state.
