Congratulations to Tori Evanina on 10 years with Schiff’s Food Service!
- What drew you to this field, and how did you get started?
Losing my job at a car dealership, after that I wanted to work with my mom if I could and I always joked with her that I would take her job over when she retired, but I found my home in purchasing.
- What do you enjoy most about working with your colleagues?
Their personalities; they make me laugh until I cry sometimes and keep work fun and me wanting to come back every day.
- What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
Spending time with my daughter Juliet, she is the light of my life and the funniest kid I know.
- Who is someone you admire, and why?
My mother/best friend Vicki. She is an inspiration, a single mother who raised my brother and I. Has the loudest mouth but the kindest soul. To know her is to love her, and I’m lucky she’s my mother every single day.
- What is your favorite Thanksgiving side dish?
Green Bean Casserole, and Vicki’s homemade pumpkin pie.
