Customer Spotlight: Mexican Spice

Mexican Spice is a labor of love for owner Jennifer Teutli, who was born and raised in Mexico City and has a passion for authentic Mexican food. When she moved to Chatham, New Jersey over ten years ago, she could not find any places that were both healthy and delicious to satisfy her craving for Mexican food. After that, she decided to start her own business!

Over the past five years, Mexican Spice has grown! You can find their “meals to go” in the form of meal kits and a la carte options at two brick and mortar locations, one in Summit and one in Madison, NJ. You won’t want to miss “Taco Tuesday”! Just place your order by Monday evening from their special menu, which includes family size portions, and you can pick it up at either of the brick and mortar locations.

In addition, you’ll find their taco truck at local events and farmer’s markets. They are happy to bring the party directly to you with their taco truck catering packages, perfect for weddings, birthdays, or block parties. You can also call Mexican Spice to cater any special event, complete with décor, signage, flowers, and service upon request. On their menu, you’ll find everything from homemade chips, salsa, and guacamole, to pork carnitas, to chipotle garlic shrimp, to churros!
