Customer Spotlight: The Red Schoolhouse

The Red Schoolhouse, located in Pleasant Mount, Pennsylvania has been a tavern since before prohibition! They started operating as a restaurant in the early 1970s, run by the Eldred family. Most recently, Wesley and Shawn Evarts proudly purchased the restaurant two years ago.

The Red Schoolhouse prides itself on being a family-friendly restaurant where you can relax and find great food with friendly service at affordable prices. Open seven days a week, you’ll find all of the comfort foods you love, hand-cut steaks, homemade soups, and decadent desserts. Enjoy daily dinner specials, plus wing night on Mondays with peel and eat shrimp and clams! Happy hour is Monday through Thursday from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. The Red Schoolhouse is happy to cater events, both large or small, from a friendly gathering for fifteen friends or a wedding for 400! They offer catering for smaller events on site and can bring the party to you for either large or small events. Enjoy their holiday events like the Easter pie and cake sale, the 4^th of July and Labor Day chicken and BBQ ribs dinners, trick-or-treating for Halloween, a roast turkey Thanksgiving dinner, and a New Year’s Eve party with DJ!
